We are looking for an economist for our client in Luleå/Skellefteå. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management of a client portfolio consisting of approximately 35 organizations, primarily housing cooperatives (bostadsrättsföreningar), but also commercial property owners and municipal operations.

You will act as the client for ongoing accounting and be responsible for budgeting and annual reporting. The role also includes transitioning to the K3 accounting framework, financial analysis, investment calculations, liquidity and fee planning, as well as developing loan strategies. The position entails overall financial responsibility with a focus on creating long-term sustainable financial solutions. Additionally, you will present annual reports, budgets, and forecasts to boards, identify new customer needs, and contribute to developing long-term partnerships.

You will also serve as the contact person for financial matters towards boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic education in economics or equivalent, along with a few years of experience in various parts of economics, accounting, and annual reporting.

You are service-oriented and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships, understand customer needs, and collaborate both internally and externally. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and self-initiating, with a long-term perspective in your work.

Experience in financial management for housing cooperatives is an advantage.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required as the role involves travel and some evening meetings.
