We are now looking for a Receptionist at Scandic Kiruna.

Regardless of why the guest visits us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.

Here, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions required to ensure guest satisfaction. The team develops and improves working methods and service in line with changes in the external environment. What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub of the network, ensuring the guest is always in focus. You review the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You ensure guest requests are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a happy one. Your workplace is our lobby, as this is where you meet the most guests. The role also includes administrative work, security tasks, and sales activities.

Work at the reception involves checking guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing the information they need for their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is performed with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling multiple things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in using the computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.

Above all, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and non-hierarchical team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

The position is a permanent part-time employment.

Every other weekend
