We are looking for a driven and strategic Head of Internal and Business-Close Communication who will play a key role in strengthening our internal communication and corporate culture. If you are passionate about communication, team building, the industrial transition, and want to help shape our future, we look forward to receiving your application.
The sustainable transition starts with us
We are facing our biggest challenge to date – ensuring that Sweden and Europe have what is needed to transition. So that we can live the life we want, now and in the future. Just as we want to improve the future, we want to develop everyone who is with us on this journey, both personally and professionally. Do you want to help lay the foundation for the life we live and the world around us?
Your role
In this role, you lead and further develop internal communication as a strategic support for LKAB's transition. The role involves close collaboration with HR, our business units, and the Group Executive Team to strengthen leadership, culture, and execution. You lead a team of eight employees located at our business sites; three of these are responsible communicators per site who lead both internal and external communication locally. You are part of the Communications Department's leadership group and report directly to the Head of Communications.
You will be responsible for, among other things:
- Develop and implement internal communication and channel strategy
- Lead, coach, and develop the team
- Plan and execute communication initiatives related to change and business needs
- Ensure effective channels and clear communication within the organization
- Follow up, prioritize, and develop working methods, business plans, and budgets
The role offers the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, with significant scope to influence and set the direction for the Group's internal and business-close communication. We are in an active development phase where we have, among other things, recently launched new ways of working to create engagement within the organization.
What you bring with you
You are a confident and communicative leader who can build trust and create engagement at all levels of the company. You take clear ownership of your area and the ongoing change, while being able to adapt to changing priorities. You are skilled at translating strategic goals into plans and practical initiatives that make a difference. To succeed in the role, you also need to be able to think new thoughts and build structures and processes that support an effective communications function.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent education in communication, economics, or marketing
- Several years of experience in strategic communications work with the ability to translate strategy into plans and concrete activities
- Experience from a leadership role with personnel responsibility
- Ability to handle several parallel projects and initiatives simultaneously, from both content and production to leadership
- Very good understanding of how effective communication is created based on adaptation in relation to target audience, message, and business needs
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Merits:
- Experience from a larger corporate environment, preferably from an international group
