About Us

The Swedish Customs Administration's IT department in Luleå is one of the largest IT employers in northern Sweden, with approximately 350 employees. The department supports the entire Swedish Customs Administration and delivers a variety of services in different areas to the Authority's operations.

About the Position

The main responsibility as a Business Developer at the Swedish Customs Administration's IT department is to lead and coordinate the department's transitions and improvement work in a forward-thinking manner, in line with stated goals and strategies. You will work across the entire IT department's operations together with managers, other leading functions, and in close collaboration with the existing Business Developer. The position is located within the IT Staff unit and the Leadership Support group. You will be driving the development of the entire department's operations.

This is done by:

• Analyzing and identifying areas for improvement in the department's working methods, processes, and tools in collaboration with the various units of the IT department.
• Systematically improving how the department is led, governed, and creates value.
• Contributing to creating an innovative and efficient environment that supports our overarching goals.
• Contributing new ideas and perspectives.
• Communicating and anchoring suggestions for improvements to various stakeholder groups.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who have:

• An academic degree in IT or other education assessed as equivalent by the Swedish Customs Administration.
• Several years of experience working as a Business Developer within IT.
• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Swedish citizenship.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience of working in public sector operations.
• Experience of project management.
• Experience of change management.
• Experience of working in agile organizations.
