Our Mission
Within the Coordinated Support business area, we provide coordinated measures for job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and recruitment, while preventing incorrect payments and breaches of welfare systems. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who wish to broaden their recruitment, based on our local anchoring and knowledge of the labor market.
Our Workplace
Within Coordinated Support Norrbotten, we work together across our 14 municipalities and consist of approximately 100 employees located at one of our 7 staffed offices. In the work with the county's competence supply, collaboration and collegial support are central factors for creating both results and a good working environment. Together, we work towards common goals and support each other in daily work.
The unit is characterized by a result-oriented, close, and coaching leadership style that encourages participation, motivation, and responsibility.
Job Description
As an Employment Advisor within Coordinated Support, you work intensively with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain in the labor market. The work takes place through both physical and digital meetings and in close collaboration with employers, authorities, and other actors to coordinate measures based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers regarding competence supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment.
An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services, as well as rights and obligations, and provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming cases via telephone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs.
To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document legally securely, act professionally in meetings with people, and can navigate multiple IT systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, advisory, and sometimes complex conversations, as well as working towards set goals.
Some of our new employees will work with the focus area SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support). SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain, or keep a job. The job involves close collaboration with employers in both the private and public sectors, often at workplaces, which requires travel in a service car. The work is intense and dynamic, and you need to be flexible, able to prioritize, and drive processes forward. As a SIUS employee, you are the engine in processes where your initiative makes a difference.
The organization's needs over time determine which focus area an employment advisor has, so this may change over time based on individual development and changes in the organization's needs.
Your employment begins with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in the role as a state civil servant.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The location is Kiruna. During the introduction period, a number of days will be scheduled in another location, e.g., Gällivare or Luleå, which may involve overnight stays.
We offer favorable vacation agreements, health care during working hours, and a health care allowance.
