At the service centers in Region Stockholm Gotland, we have a total of approximately 170 employees. We are now recruiting for several of our service centers in Stockholm. We work with a service-oriented approach where you and your colleagues share a joint responsibility for your mission and learning. We work actively with continuous improvements, and it is part of the role to contribute to the development of the operations.
Main Responsibilities
As a Service Handler, you provide fast and professional service by answering questions from private individuals and companies. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the joint authorities' e-services and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your interaction to the customer, and have a pedagogical approach.
In your customer meetings, you have support from the various authorities' IT systems. In addition to introduction and training, time is set aside every day to familiarize yourself with the information you need to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service center's operations.
You may also be required to work at other service centers, which sometimes happens with short notice.

Qualifications
You are driven by providing our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct meetings with customers from different backgrounds and with varying functional abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is quick to absorb new knowledge.
We are looking for you who have:
- A university education of at least 80 credits/120 ECTS, or equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience
- Worked for at least two years within the last five years in a service profession where you have informed and guided customers in personal meetings
Furthermore, you must have the following skills:
- Ability to quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner
- Assess customer needs by asking questions and listening actively
- Communicate orally and in writing in Swedish
- Communicate orally in English
- Adapt your working method to the varying needs of customers
- Handle multiple customers simultaneously
- Contribute positively to the work group's results and collaboration
Furthermore, it is meritorious if you:
- Have experience working with physical customer meetings within one of our joint authorities

Other Information
The positions are fixed-term appointments at 100%.
Start date: 2026-09-01 to 2027-05-31.
We do not offer remote work options.
This position requires a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be assigned to wartime duties based on the needs of the total defense.
