About the job
The Executive Office of the Swedish Pension Agency is responsible for cross-authority contacts with the Government Offices and for cooperation and agreements with other authorities and organizations. Additionally, the unit plans the agency's board meetings. You will be responsible for preparing these board meetings and coordinating contacts with several authorities that are crucial to our operations. You will also be responsible for further developing the Swedish Pension Agency's rules of procedure and certain other governing documents. The work will involve many internal and external contacts and varying subject matters. Ensuring that the right information reaches the right recipient is crucial. You will have the opportunity to develop both your professional expertise and your network in a dynamic and welcoming environment.
The Executive Office of the Swedish Pension Agency is a unit with ten employees led by a Chief of Staff and a Deputy Chief of Staff. The office supports the Director General and the Board in the management and direction of the agency. The unit also supports the Director General with advice, communication materials, investigative assignments, and similar work. You will participate in staff meetings with the Director General and the Division Manager, thereby gaining a good overview of the agency's operations in close collaboration with colleagues in the office.

Your profile
As a person, you are collaborative, structured, and pedagogical.
You easily build good relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. You work methodically, can prioritize and handle multiple parallel tasks simultaneously, and ensure that your work maintains high quality. You have strong communication skills and can adapt your message to the recipient and situation, allowing you to convey complex information in an understandable way.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant academic degree
- Current experience in a similar role within the Swedish state sector
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in staff service or equivalent in a government authority
- Experience from more than one authority
- Experience from the Swedish Pension Agency

Good to know
The position is a permanent full-time employment, and we apply a 6-month probation period.
The employment may be placed in a security classification.

Every year, we pay out approximately 415 billion SEK to 2.3 million pensioners, carry out approximately 911,000 fund swaps, and send out 8 million orange envelopes. We have approximately 25 million digital customer contacts per year. We have approximately 1,700 employees across eight locations, from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south.
