In the role of Senior Economist at AboutValue, you have independent responsibility for your own clients, where you assist them with financial services and consultation on various financial and business-related issues.

About the Role

The role combines business control, operational work, and digital transformation, and suits you if you thrive in an environment with clear responsibility, rapid change, and a focus on continuous improvement.

In this role, you lead teams and are ultimately responsible for some of the clients' financial operations, economic, and control models. You lead the work with reporting, budget monitoring, closing, and annual reports.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Independent client responsibility with a focus on ensuring high quality and delivery.
• Support clients in matters related to financial management.
• Lead change and implementation work at both AboutValue and its clients.
• Develop and streamline processes, including reporting processes.
• Be involved in driving the work to digitize processes in Business Central and Fortnox.
• Ensure deliveries with high quality and proactive advice – preferably with new, smart solutions where appropriate.
• Support the organization with complex accounting issues.
• Onboarding of new clients.
• Support and coach junior colleagues.

Experience and Knowledge

• Relevant academic degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management, preferably from agency or consulting activities.
• Very good knowledge of accounting (K3 regulations).
• Advantageous with experience of IFRS.
• Good Excel skills.
• Interest in systems, advantageous with experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar complex systems.
• Highly advantageous with experience in driving change, digitalization, or implementation of business systems.
• Advantageous with experience in leading and developing economic and business control at a strategic level.
