Turebergsskolan is a school located within walking distance of Sollentuna center. Approximately 230 students in grades F-9 attend the school. We also have a RN-unit with approximately 25 students with mobility impairments, as well as municipal joint teaching groups for approximately 40 students within the autism spectrum. The school has a well-functioning values-based work and actively works to create an accessible school for every student, and our employees are characterized by great commitment and high competence. We work every day preventively and compensatorily to support the students' social and knowledge development. We are the small school with great opportunities!
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an engaged lower secondary school teacher for our municipal special teaching group for students within the autism spectrum.
In the role, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring a small student group of approximately 9 students. You will work together with a social pedagogue and a special needs teacher, where you jointly plan, conduct, and follow up on the teaching based on the students' individual needs.
You are also part of a work team together with several teachers and social pedagogues, where collaboration, experience sharing, and a shared responsibility for the students' development are in focus.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are stable and confident with a good ability to build relationships. You have a holistic perspective, collaborate well with colleagues, and contribute actively to the work team. You have the ability to lead and create good conditions for the students' learning.
Requirements
- Licensed primary school teacher grades 4-6
- Qualified in mathematics, Swedish, Natural Science, and Social Science
- Experience teaching students in need of special support such as neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF) and speech disorders
- Understanding of and experience using low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and relational teacher leadership
