About the workplace

Skogskällan is a unified F-3 school and a three-track 4-6 school. At Skogskällan, our dedicated and competent educators work to support students in reaching their full potential through adaptations and an inclusive approach.

The after-school center is divided into after-school for F-3 and Eftis 4-6, which, in collaboration with the school, works to develop our students both academically and socially.

The school's fantastic location, with proximity to nature and sports facilities, inspires and enables various types of outdoor activities during the school day.

At Skogskällan, we work for a fun and stimulating break activity where students and staff together create activities adapted to different ages and interests.

About the job

Being a teacher and professional educator in Huddinge Municipality means you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their prerequisites. You build good relationships with both students and guardians, based on trust and respect. You are aware of your own influence on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing teaching. You provide forward-looking feedback to students for development and support students in need of special support. We work with collegial learning, which means you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's pedagogical work. As a teacher at Skogskällan/Källbrinksskolan, you will be part of a work team together with two other teachers.

You are a mentor responsible for a class but also teach parallel classes in the same grade. As a mentor, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching. You conduct development talks and parent meetings and set grades for the students you teach. This is a temporary position lasting during the academic year 26/27 with a possibility of extension.

About you

You are a licensed teacher in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and Natural Sciences for grades 4-6, and you are well-versed in LGR22 and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Other requirements for this specific role. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, easily build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by security, trust, and respect.

With good didactic skills, good subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements in LGR22. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your teaching. You see yourself as a natural part of creating good conditions for students' learning.
