Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work in our after-school center (fritidshem) on an as-needed basis. The center is open between 06:00 and 18:00. Since the facility is located in a rural area, you must have access to a car to commute to work.

As a substitute in the after-school center, you contribute to creating a safe, meaningful, and stimulating environment for the students. The role involves both care and learning. You are present with the children, supporting them in their social relationships, and participating in or conducting simple activities based on the center's needs. You work closely with permanent staff to help create a positive and developmental daily routine for the students.

During school hours, you work as a resource in the classroom, supporting students and teachers in their teaching.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have training as a childcare worker or a youth leader, along with experience working in an after-school center.

A valid driver's license (Category B) and access to your own car are required for this position, as Skepptuna School is located in a rural area with limited public transport options.

You need to be a secure and confident person who is skilled at building positive and empowering relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. It is important that you are responsible, collaborative, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Employment Conditions

Type of employment: Fixed-term position.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
