Temporary Medical Secretary at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic in Gävle and Hudiksvall

The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic in Gävle and Hudiksvall investigates and treats diseases within the entire ENT area. We provide both scheduled physician consultations and emergency services, and perform surgeries at the clinic, the day surgery unit in Gävle, and the central operating theater in Gävle and Hudiksvall. Doctors, nurses, operating room nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and receptionists work together here to provide our patients with the best possible care.

Job Responsibilities

As a medical secretary with us, you have a key function that ensures the whole operation runs smoothly. Together with colleagues and other staff, you contribute to creating and maintaining a structured and well-functioning administrative organization for the benefit of our patients. At the clinic, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and medical secretaries work closely together.

As a medical secretary with us, you will mainly work with:

• Healthcare documentation from both scheduled clinics and emergency clinics.
• Operative reports, departmental dictations, and registration of diagnosis and procedure codes.

In the role of medical secretary, you must:

• Be trained as a medical secretary.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in the healthcare software systems Cosmic, Melior, and/or Elvis.
