The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. About Förskolan Sjöängen

Forskolan Sjöängen is a municipal preschool located in a villa area near Trångsund center, forest, nature, and Lake Drevviken. Our vision is: "The preschool is a place where everyone, with their different prerequisites, is given the opportunity for play and joyful learning."

About the work

In Trångsund, we work project-based, inspired by the preschools in Reggio Emilia, based on children's curiosity and interests. We want to give all children in the activity the prerequisites to develop with all their senses and get the opportunity to express themselves in many different ways. Together with the rest of the staff, you will help develop an exciting activity where you can meet the children's curiosity and challenge their play and learning.

Here, you have the opportunity for competence and development days.

This is a time-limited monthly substitute position between 2026-08-10 and 2026-12-31.

About you

We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare worker, are familiar with the preschool's steering documents, and can translate the curriculum's goals into practical work. You have good IT skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We wish that you have previous experience of working based on Reggio Emilia's pedagogical philosophy. We also want you to have experience of project-based work, creative materials, atelier work, or other aesthetic expressions, and that you have worked with pedagogical documentation to analyze and reflect together with both colleagues and children.
