As a social pedagogue or leisure-time centre teacher, you are a key part of the school's promoting and preventive work. You actively contribute to developing a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed. You work closely with students, staff, student health services, and guardians to create good conditions for learning and well-being.

You will support students during transitions during the school day, for example between lessons, recesses, and other activities, which promotes the preventive work for increased security, study environment, and attendance.

Your duties include supporting the student in their communication, with schoolwork during lessons, as well as providing support and care in everyday situations. You are involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents. You collaborate with teachers, student health services, guardians, and external actors as needed.
