Personal assistance is a service provided under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the position

The girl requires assistance and active supervision around the clock as her oxygen levels can change rapidly. Being attentive and reading the girl's condition is very important and part of the job duties. The work also involves being able to activate the girl in a playful way and being helpful with tasks required in her daily life, such as giving food, changing clothes, and going to the park.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Want to work with a 5-year-old girl living in Skogås
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and Spanish
• Have previous experience in personal assistance
• Can work in a home where there is a dog

It is also meritorious if you:

• Are a trained assistant nurse (undersköterska)
• Have previous experience with ventilators or oxygen therapy
• Are caring and confident in yourself
• Are active, proactive, and enjoy keeping up a daily life with much activity

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the employment percentage is 47%.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Fridays 15:30–22:30, Saturdays 16:30–22:30, and Sundays 16:30–22:30.

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Working at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the police regarding your criminal record prior to any employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
