About Us

The Hägerneholm principal's area comprises two municipal preschools, a primary school, and a leisure center for students from preschool class to grade 9. We are now looking for engaged casual substitutes for:

• Hägerneholm Preschool
• Hägerneholm School / Leisure Center
• Trädgårdsstaden Preschool

About the Role

As a casual substitute, you work as needed when permanent staff are absent, sometimes with short notice. You can also be booked for shorter, consecutive periods. We are looking for someone who is flexible, curious, and interested in working with children and young people of different ages.

Your Responsibilities

Preschool: You support the pedagogical team in daily work and are active in children's play, meals, rest periods, and learning. You contribute to a safe, fun, and developmental environment with the child's best interests in focus.

Primary School (Teacher Substitute): As a teacher substitute, you are an important part of the students' learning. You are responsible for teaching during the regular teacher's absence and create a safe and inspiring environment where students receive support to develop as far as possible in their knowledge acquisition. You help students understand, carry out, and move forward with their school tasks, always with the student's learning in focus. During longer substitutions, planning, assessment, and contact with guardians may also be included.

Leisure Center/Collaboration: You support students in the classroom and serve as extra support in teaching. During breaks and leisure time, you are an active part of the operations, where you gladly take initiative and drive activities that encourage play, movement, creativity, and community. We appreciate that you are creative and receptive, and that you create good opportunities for all students to participate on their own terms. You contribute energy, security, and a warm reception, and are an important adult in the children's day.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Meritorious: Childcare education, student assistant education, leisure pedagogue education, or other pedagogical background
• Experience working with children/young people in groups (e.g., in school, as a sports leader or confirmation leader) is a plus

Employment type: Need-based employment (casual substitute)
