We are looking for you, an experienced, engaged, and positive qualified teacher for leisure-time centers (fritidshem), who loves teaching and developing students' abilities. Currently, we can offer a one-year substitute position starting in autumn 2026.

Kymlingeskolan is a very well-functioning school with a good reputation, good results, academically motivated students, and an extremely positive and engaged staff. The majority of students have a cultural background other than Swedish, so we have many enriching connections to the rest of the world. We focus heavily on our quality work, as we believe that good and effective routines are an important prerequisite for a well-functioning school.

As a teacher for leisure-time centers, you will, together with other educators, lead the operations at our leisure-time departments, plan, implement, and follow up on various activities that support students' learning. With support from the school management, you will also be responsible for developing our leisure-time activities – our ambition is to make the afternoons even better and create an amazing activity where students look forward to being.

The requirements for the role are that you have a teacher qualification for leisure-time centers and previous experience with leisure-time activities and teaching in the lower grades of primary school (grades F-6).

As a person, you are professional, independent, and have a burning commitment to the students and their development. You are used to collaborating with other educational staff and prefer working together with others rather than working alone.

You are well-organized and thrive with clear and common routines that create quality and systematic approaches.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. The position is a substitute role for the school year 2026/27.
