Kunskapsskolan in Sweden operates elementary and upper secondary schools under the names Kunskapsskolan and Kunskapsgymnasiet. The first schools were established in 2000. Today, approximately 14,600 students attend the 30 elementary schools and seven upper secondary schools. Kunskapsskolan is owned by its founder, Peje Emilsson, and his family.

Kunskapsskolan Spånga is looking for a certified middle school teacher. Experience teaching music is an advantage.

Kunskapsskolan Spånga is an elementary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 640 students. The school started in 2005 and is within walking distance of Spånga station. At our school, we have happy students who thrive and achieve high academic results.

To ensure every student reaches as far as possible, we need professional teachers with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and therefore we are looking for you who always work actively to ensure your students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a mentor to about twenty students, and you hold mentoring sessions with your students every week. You help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on these goals together with both the students and their guardians.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject groups. The openness between teachers is high, and we share a common responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on the students, we have collected a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials.

Qualifications

We are looking for a middle school teacher. You should be well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment.

Desirable Qualifications

We would appreciate it if you had a few years of experience in teaching and mentoring or coaching. We want you to be easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians, and to be solution-focused.

We place great value on your engagement, your pedagogical competence, and your mentoring skills. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can build trust with the students.

Terms of Employment
The position is a fixed-term position for the academic year 2026/27.
