Folkuniversitetet Upper Secondary School in Trollhättan is a small-scale school with close contact between students and staff. The school offers social science, economic, and aesthetic programs with an international profile. We are now looking for teachers who can teach Swedish and English during the 2026/27 academic year.

The Position

The Upper Secondary School in Trollhättan was established in 2001 and offers social science, aesthetic, and economic programs. All programs have an international profile. Our goal has always been high teaching quality and staying at the forefront both pedagogically and academically, to give students a solid foundation for further studies at colleges and universities. The school has approximately 300 students, and all our programs have two specializations: social/behavioral, economics/law, and visual arts/design/theater. For the upcoming academic year, we are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Swedish and English.

Main Responsibilities as a Teacher

• Planning and conducting lessons in relevant subjects
• Class advisor duties and mentoring
• Participation in working groups and the school's various activities

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher.

We consider it a given that you believe it is important for all students to develop academically and socially based on their prerequisites. As an employee at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor your work to individuals and bring out each person's potential from a relational teaching perspective. It is important that you are accustomed to working independently and solution-focused, as well as having positive drive. You should be flexible, communicative, and structured, and you are expected to participate actively in the working group's joint efforts. We also assume that you share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment Type

Part-time 80%, fixed-term employment during the 2026/27 academic year, with the possibility of extension. Start date August 12th or as agreed.
