Description

At Nordhem Clinic, we meet people where they are. We are a centrally located clinic with a strong commitment to individuals with alcohol dependence – both with and without psychiatric comorbidity. Our patients have varying needs and life situations, making work with us both meaningful and developmental. Every weekday morning, we open our doors to patients seeking help through our drop-in clinic. The contact always begins with a doctor's visit, and together with the patient, an individual care plan is developed based on needs, goals, and conditions. Nordhem Clinic has approximately 700 ongoing patients, and the operations include outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, driver's license clinic, LTX clinic, and sampling center. Here, we work as a team with a common focus – to offer safe, accessible, and high-quality care. We have a strong drive forward. We continuously work on improvement and development to meet our patients in the best possible way. We value collaboration, engagement, and a warm welcome – both towards patients and colleagues. Do you want to make a difference with us? Then Nordhem Clinic might be the right workplace for you.

Job Responsibilities

As an important part of our team at Nordhem Clinic, you will contribute your specialized psychosocial knowledge and be a support for both patients and colleagues. In your role, you collaborate with various professional groups around the patient and serve as a natural resource for consultation in psychosocial matters.

You will have a broad and dynamic role where you, among other things:

  • meet patients during acute visits
  • support and facilitate contacts with social services and other authorities
  • act as a flexible resource for both outpatient care and the inpatient ward
  • have your own individual contacts
  • actively participate in our group activities.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients while developing collaboration and care together with engaged colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social worker (counselor) and have experience working with our target group.

In the role, you will encounter many different contacts, both with patients and in collaboration with colleagues and external actors. Therefore, we see that you thrive in a varied daily routine, are flexible and team-oriented, but also confident in working independently when needed.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a good ability to build trusting relationships, contribute to the team's joint work, and simultaneously take responsibility for your own treatment contacts.

It is an advantage if you have further education in MI (Motivational Interviewing) and experience working in collaboration.

We prefer that you are a licensed healthcare social worker.

Conditions

Temporary position with possible extension.

We warmly welcome your application!
