About the role and your responsibilities

As a compulsory school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as current regulatory documents. You are well-versed in the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching, working to promote students' learning and development.

During the academic year 2026-2027, the lower primary school will work with mixed-age classes, and this position will be responsible for one of these groups. As a pedagog, you are expected to have excellent collaboration skills and clear leadership in the classroom. You will also actively contribute to the school's development work, focusing on inclusion and creating an accessible and safe school day for all students.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you who are a certified compulsory school teacher for grades F-3. It is meritorious if you have certification up to grade 6. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience working and teaching in schools. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

Vallkärra School has ongoing development work within IBIS (Inclusive Behavioral Support), so it is meritorious if you have knowledge regarding inclusive behavioral support in schools.

In your professional role, you communicate clearly and ensure, by adapting your approach, that the message reaches those affected. You also have an understanding of how students' different prerequisites can affect how they absorb knowledge. As an employee, you take responsibility for your tasks and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
