Mariaskolan is one of Sweden's oldest independent schools with a Christian profile, and has been located in Malmö for 40 years. Today, we have approximately 250 students in our primary and lower secondary school (grades F-9) and about 100 children in our preschool. The school's governing body, the Christian School Association in Malmö, is a non-profit organization, and the school is situated in the Stadion area.

We are now looking for a qualified teacher in Technology for our team in grades 7–9.

We are looking for someone with a Christian worldview who wants to help shape our students into secure, curious, and democratic individuals. We assume that you are a certified teacher and preferably have a few years of teaching experience.

We are a small school that values good collaboration, so it is important that you can build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will be part of the middle school team and also help develop teaching within a subject group.

Mariaskolan focuses specifically on language-oriented work, value-creating and cross-curricular learning, as well as cooperative learning in the classroom.

We are keen on constantly developing our operations and school development, and collegial learning is included as a natural part according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum (Lgr22).

Responsibilities:

• Teaching in Technology, including planning and follow-up of teaching with students and guardians, as well as assessment in these subjects.
• Some time for joint planning with teachers in special education groups and collaboration with other functions at the school, such as the student health team.

Qualifications:

Pedagogical university education and teacher certification as a primary/lower secondary school teacher with eligibility in Technology.

Experience with language-oriented teaching, value-creating learning, cross-curricular work, and cooperative learning is considered an asset.

Personal qualities:
