Job Responsibilities

In your role, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and developing our after-school center (fritidshem) together with your team. Based on the national curriculum and our guiding documents, you create an environment in the after-school center aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and their personal growth. At our school, you will also work to offer our students a meaningful leisure time. This includes encouraging diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relations. During school hours, you collaborate with our school staff. One of our prioritized development areas is language-developing teaching in the after-school center.

For three terms, we will be part of a project within the framework of language-developing work together with the Swedish National Agency for Education and Malmö University. You will be part of the school's planning group regarding this prioritized development work. You collaborate with a primary school teacher during school hours, and you have pedagogical responsibility for the after-school center together with your work team. You find strategies to reach and strengthen each student in both knowledge development and personal growth. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in the after-school center (fritidshem). Previous experience in the profession is meritorious. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's guiding documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is modern, and you develop your work based on evidence-based research. With good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools.

About the Workplace
