The Furuboda Association runs a folk high school, upper secondary school, labor market training programs, HVB (care homes), conference activities, and an assistance company. The operations are conducted at our main facility south of Åhus and at our branches in Kristianstad, Malmö, Lund, and Karlskrona.

RESPONSIBILITIES

For Furuboda's operations in Kristianstad, we are now looking for a teacher who will primarily teach SMF (Study-Motivating Folk High School Course) in mathematics, Swedish, and English at both basic and upper secondary levels.

SMF is a study-motivating folk high school course aimed at unemployed individuals who lack education and wish to increase their motivation to resume their studies. The goal is to strengthen participants' hope for the future, study skills, and opportunities for further education.

As a teacher in SMF, you will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching and activities that strengthen the participant's motivation, self-confidence, and study techniques.

Teaching within General Courses and Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) may also become relevant depending on the needs of the operation and your qualifications.

The position is 75% and fixed-term until the end of the year.

Start date: According to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

As an applicant, you are a qualified teacher in some of the subjects and have a few years of experience in adult education. Previous experience with folk high schools is considered an advantage.
