At Komvux Malmö, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher for instruction in Swedish as a second language. This position is a temporary assignment during the autumn term of 2026. Join our team and contribute to the future of Malmö's residents and society.

Job Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher is to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each individual to meet the knowledge requirements based on their prerequisites. The work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the pedagogical operations, in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange. You will work in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with your colleagues, you create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also participate in the school's quality and development work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Qualification to teach Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Qualification to teach other subjects
• Experience teaching Swedish as a second language
• Experience teaching at both basic and upper secondary levels
• Experience with distance learning and conducting examinations
• Experience with Google Workspace for Education
• Experience with digital testing services, such as Digiexam and/or Dugga

You understand how students' backgrounds, culture, and group affiliation affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.

At Komvux Malmö, we work with adult education and meet people on their way to their future goals every day. We offer education at the basic and upper secondary levels, Swedish for immigrants, studies for students with special needs, and university college education.
