Job Description

Do you want to work in a creative and developmental environment where you inspire students to create, explore, and develop their creativity? We are now looking for an engaged crafts teacher who wants to help create inspiring teaching where students develop both practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

As a crafts teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on crafts education in accordance with the national curriculum. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop creativity, craftsmanship knowledge, and understanding of materials, techniques, and sustainable development.

The role includes, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate crafts education
• Inspire students to develop creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship knowledge
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment in the crafts classroom
• Assess and document students' knowledge development
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership regarding students' learning and development

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are engaged, structured, and have a genuine interest in students' learning and development. You have the ability to create inspiring teaching where students feel safe to try, create, and develop. You work independently but also thrive in collaboration with colleagues and other professions in the school. You are pedagogical, clear in your leadership, and have a positive and solution-oriented approach.

We see that you have:

• Teacher certification (Lärarlegitimation)
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good familiarity with digital working methods

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in primary school
