Tegelbruksskolan in Klippan provides vocational training for the electrical, construction, and automotive industries at the upper secondary school level, adult education level, and university college level.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help educate tomorrow's professionals in the construction industry, both young and adult? We are currently looking for a Machinery and Construction Teacher for our construction program at the upper secondary school and adult education level in Klippan.

About the Position

As a teacher here, you will work with both practical and theoretical instruction in construction. The position involves teaching at both the upper secondary school and adult education levels, providing a varied and developmental work environment with different student groups.

Your tasks include:

• Instruction in machinery and construction work.
• Practical fieldwork as well as theoretical teaching.
• Supervision of students and APL (workplace-based learning).
• Planning, documentation, and follow-up of instruction at the school and at APL sites.
• Collaboration with colleagues.

Good industry contacts are crucial.

Qualifications and Merits

You need documented and verified experience working in the industry. It is a great advantage if you have previous teaching experience, preferably with a completed teacher education and qualification/exam in machinery and construction.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and interested in the students' knowledge development, as well as having the ability to build and maintain relationships with students.

You have a strong ability to deliver education with good quality and high goal fulfillment, with documented good results in education in the field.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license (required), but additional licenses are a plus.

Merits:

• Professional experience in construction and/or contracting.
• Good familiarity with GPS-controlled machines and digital setting out.
• Good knowledge of safety, machinery, and modern working methods.
• Pedagogical ability and interest in sharing your knowledge.
• Competence in working with digital tools is an advantage for handling parts of the job duties.
