Do you want to ignite a love for music in children and young people while developing your own teaching? We are now looking for a percussion pedagogue who wants to help shape the future culture school in Kävlinge.

About the position

Here, you will become part of a creative team. You teach individually and in groups, meeting students of different ages and levels. You will play a key role in developing the percussion subject, primarily the drum kit, and contribute to more students discovering and developing their musical abilities.

You work together with a dedicated and competent collegium where we enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas. At the same time, you have great freedom to plan your teaching and develop your subject. We are also in a development phase where new working methods, such as digital teaching, may become relevant in the future.

Working hours are primarily in the afternoon and evening. Weekend work may occur.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are relationship-building, communicative, and creative. You find it easy to collaborate and contribute to an open and positive work climate. At the same time, you are independent and take responsibility for your work. You are attentive in your meetings with students and adapt your teaching to create motivation and development.

The position requires a degree as a percussion pedagogue or equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience from a culture school or similar activity, broad genre competence, and a B-category driver's license.

Selection will take place on an ongoing basis.

Here, you work together with just over twenty other educators in a work team with very good morale. We teach music, theater, magic, broadcasting and film, comic drawing, as well as fantasy and color. We have nearly 800 unique students in the voluntary activity.

Teaching takes place at many different locations in the municipality and is organized as both individual teaching and group teaching. We have our own premises and premises that we share with the primary school. Regular performances and events are part of everyday life, and we strive to be a joy to all municipal residents.

The Culture School is part of the sector for working life and leisure, which includes leisure and culture, labor market and integration, upper secondary and adult education, as well as individual and family care.
