Rönnowska School is the largest upper secondary school in Helsingborg and is at the absolute forefront when it comes to education. All the vocational programs we offer are certified by the industry, which is unique for a school in Sweden with so many vocational programs. At Rönnowska School, we have approximately 1,000 students and over 140 employees.

Job Responsibilities

The position includes teaching in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language (SVA), and English, as well as mentoring a group of students. You will participate in the pedagogical development at the school, including in working groups and subject groups. Subject-integrated teaching also occurs, both with other theoretical courses as well as vocational courses. As an employee here, you will be part of a creative and ambitious team that continuously develops our operations.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are certified and qualified to teach Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, and English, but other combinations are also of interest. Experience of teaching and supervision at the upper secondary level is meritorious. We also place great emphasis on the right personality. We are looking for you with a genuine interest in pedagogy and a desire to work towards increased goal achievement for our students. You are well acquainted with the upper secondary school curriculum and course plans.

Since we work digitally and all students have Chromebooks, it is a prerequisite that you are comfortable with modern technology. We are looking for you who have the ability to build good relationships with students and staff, and you are a secure person with the ability to work independently and together with others to achieve high results. You have a positive outlook and great commitment. We are looking for you who know that you have the world's most important job: to get every student to succeed.
