About the Operations

The Unit for Digitalization and Administration is a central part of the Social Services Administration in Mellerud Municipality. The unit consists of two departments: one working on digitalization projects and one working more administratively. This position is primarily located within the administrative part, but we work cross-functionally and support each other in daily tasks. We also work closely with the Unit for Competence Supply and Recruitment, with whom we share an office.

Our work revolves around supporting and facilitating the work of the administration's managers, employees, and key personnel.

We do this, among other things, by handling invoices for the rest of the administration, creating and providing statistics, and performing other administrative tasks on assignment.

Our unit always keeps the future in mind and wants to develop by finding new, efficient ways of working. Therefore, we are constantly working to develop our processes and systems.

Responsibilities

The role of Administrator involves providing service to the organization, and you will play an important role in many parts of the operations.

The position is placed under the Operations Area of Support and Administration at the Unit for Digitalization and Administration. It is a relatively small operation where we all help out where needed and support colleagues in their respective work.

The role of Administrator involves great variation. Among other things, you will work with the introduction of managers and key personnel, account follow-up, and responsibility for mail and functional mailboxes. You will also support colleagues in other tasks that the unit is assigned to perform. Additionally, the position includes certain tasks where we assist the Unit for Competence Supply and Recruitment.

You should be a person who likes to support and help others, is social, and service-oriented. Having structure and order is a prerequisite for success in the role. Numbers and responsibility are not something that scares you; rather, you thrive on them.

Since the work involves rapid changes, you are stress-resistant and enjoy having several different tasks going on at the same time. Flexibility comes naturally to you.

Requirements:

  • Upper secondary education
  • Experience in administrative work
  • Good ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Good IT skills

Merits:

  • Post-secondary education/courses in administration and/or economics
  • Experience working with invoice processing and/or other financial control work
  • Experience working in business and/or economic systems, such as Stratsys and XLedger
  • Experience working in a politically governed organization

Other Information

The position is a temporary assignment of primarily 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
