Experienced Payroll Consultant sought for flexible part-time role overseeing the full payroll cycle.
Are you looking for a consultancy role where your experience with payroll, Agda, and collective agreements will truly be put to use? We are seeking a confident and independent payroll consultant for an established company near Borås. Here, you will take full responsibility for the payroll process from start to finish for approximately 140 employees, including both staff and unionized workers. This role is ideal for someone accustomed to working independently, with a strong grasp of time reporting, shift allowances, on-call duties, expense claims, and authority reporting, and who thrives when maintaining a clear, structured payroll process.

For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to adapt the scope of the role. While primarily focused on payroll, it can also be combined with other administrative or financial tasks as needed. You will work closely with the Finance and HR departments, with the possibility of a handover from the previous consultant and support from the business regarding approvals, time reporting, and documentation.
Your Responsibilities
As a payroll consultant, you are responsible for the entire payroll process, ensuring that salaries are calculated correctly, paid on time, and in accordance with current procedures.

Key Information
This is a consultancy role where you will be employed by TNG during the assignment, or you can enter as a sub-consultant via your own company. The role is part-time, and the scope can be adapted based on your availability and experience. It may involve approximately 50 to 70 percent full-time equivalent, where a higher scope can be combined with other administrative or financial tasks.
You are required to be on-site at least one day per week, preferably more if needed, as physical presence creates security and simplifies dialogue with the business. The assignment can start as soon as possible, and there is an opportunity for a handover from the previous consultant.
Our Expectations
We are looking for an experienced payroll consultant, payroll specialist, or payroll administrator who is confident in taking responsibility for the entire payroll process. You have extensive experience with Agda and know where to find reports, how the system is structured, and how to quality-assure a payroll run. If you lack Agda knowledge but are quick to learn new systems, that is also of interest.
You are accustomed to working with unionized staff, salaried employees, time reporting, shift allowances, on-call duties, absences, expense claims, and reporting. Experience from production or operations with shift work is advantageous.
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and independent. You have the ability to spot discrepancies, ask the right questions, and create security in a process where details matter. You thrive in a role where you take ownership but also collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and business managers.
