Do you have broad experience within accounting and thrive in a role where you take overall responsibility? SJR is now looking for an Accounting Manager for an international company with operations in Sweden. This is a long-term direct employment with our client in Greater Gothenburg, starting after the summer.

About the role

In this role, you have overall responsibility for the Swedish company, which has a turnover of approximately 100 MSEK and around ten employees. You work broadly within accounting and ensure that quality, processes, and deadlines are maintained at a high level. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Reconciliations
• Year-end closing
• Analysis and reporting to the European group.

You are supported by an accounting assistant who handles accounts receivable, and you serve as the natural contact person for accounting matters – both internally and with international counterparts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in qualified accounting work, including year-end closing and reporting, and who are confident working independently with significant responsibility. You thrive close to the business operations and have good system competence, mastering Excel and other reporting systems without major difficulties. Experience with one of the different versions of Dynamics365 (F&O, AX, or BC) is a requirement for the role, as is comfort communicating in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
