About the job

We are now looking for an engaged and analytical Financial Controller who wants to be part of developing the finance function at NMC Cellfoam. The role is broad and varied with both operational and strategic elements.

As a Financial Controller, this means having a clear focus on controlling, analysis and business management and close collaboration with management and operations.

Responsibilities

Controlling & business management

• Analyze and monitor sales margins
• Identify deviations and work continuously with key figures
• Participate in budget work and contribute with analyses and decision support
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and support business decisions

Accounting & administration

• Handle customer and supplier accounts
• Work with account reconciliations and accounting journals
• Responsible for VAT declarations, Intrastat and periodic summaries
• Handle intra-group invoicing and agreements
• Be the contact person for the external payroll administrator

Financial statements & reporting

• Support in monthly, quarterly and annual closing
• Contribute to group reporting

If necessary, you also support in other administrative tasks and act as a support to the finance manager in selected areas.

About you

We are looking for you who is analytical, structured and responsible with a strong business focus. You thrive in a broad role where you get to combine accounting with controlling and business-close analysis. You have good communication skills and appreciate collaborating with different parts of the organization.

As a person, you are proactive, solution-oriented and have the ability to create structure and drive improvement work forward. You are confident working independently while valuing teamwork and a flat hierarchy collaboration.

We are looking for you who has:

• University education in economics
• Experience of similar tasks within accounting and/or controlling.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• Very good system competence and experience of business systems and BI tools.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience of SAP and SAP BI is an advantage.
