Process Coordinator for Payroll and Administration sought for Gothenburg Symphony / Gothenburg Concert Hall
Gothenburg Symphony AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Region Västra Götaland. The operations are conducted in heritage-listed premises at the Concert Hall on Götaplatsen in Gothenburg and is one of the largest cultural institutions in Västra Götaland. A large number of events in the form of concerts and conferences take place annually at the Concert Hall, both in-house and through rentals to external organizers. Concerts with the own orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony, constitute the main part of the concert activities. Gothenburg Symphony is Sweden's National Orchestra, an orchestra with international prestige.
About the Role
To our Operational Department, we are now seeking a Process Coordinator for Payroll and Administration. You are an expert at meeting people and thrive in a stimulating and creative environment. The role involves many contact surfaces, and you will collaborate closely with Finance and HR.
Job Description
As a Process Coordinator at Gothenburg Symphony, you will have a broad role and be part of a team consisting of the Finance Manager, Accountant, and HR Partner. We see a combined role within payroll, administration, and system ownership. The role is to coordinate and develop areas within administration, documentation, systems, and internal processes. Furthermore, the role will act as a requirement setter towards our external partner for payroll outsourcing.
You are responsible, detail-oriented, and unpretentious, with strong communication skills. You enjoy training and supporting colleagues in digital tools. You act as a bridge between operations, systems, and external suppliers, and can pedagogically translate requirements into practical working methods. You ensure that delivery occurs across the entire chain.
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in payroll management
- Experience in digitalization and/or implementation projects
- Documented experience in system ownership
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Very good knowledge of Excel/Microsoft 365
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and solution-focused
- Ability to both set requirements and coach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of service and deadlines
- Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written
Merits
- Experience with pre-systems for payroll
- Experience working with external payroll partners
- Knowledge of Hogia Lön Plus, Flex HRM
- Experience with international employment
- Experience working with several different collective agreements
- Accounting knowledge
Employment
Immediate start, by agreement. The position is a permanent full-time role starting with a 6-month probation period.
