Job Responsibilities
At the City Property Management (Stadsfastighetsförvaltningen), we know that good communication is a prerequisite for achieving our goals and developing our operations. The Communications Unit is responsible for coordinating and developing the management's internal and external communication and offers communication support to operations and leadership. This means we have a diverse range of communication assignments that we handle in close collaboration with each other and the management's operations. Our primary mission is to conduct efficient and democracy-promoting communication work.
The Communications Unit belongs to one of our management and support departments, namely Development and Control. We want to be at the forefront and, together with each other and our colleagues, we work to ensure that City Properties is a leading manager and construction actor with proud employees and satisfied tenants. Developing the city and working in our unit is fun!
Your responsibilities:
In this role, the main focus is on internal communication and editorial work. You are an important part of our editorial and news work and are responsible for coordinating content for the intranet. With a consultative and proactive approach, you provide communication support to managers and employees. The support includes, among other things, communication planning, coordination, and production of various types of communication materials.
You also work with the management's overarching internal and external communication and contribute to developing our joint communication work. Together with your colleagues, you monitor the external environment, identify development needs, and drive improvements.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Coordinate, produce, and publish content in prioritized channels, such as news on the intranet and posts on social media.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute management-wide communication initiatives.
- Provide communication support to managers and operations on communication matters.
- Contribute to the development of communication work through environmental scanning, analysis, and improvement work.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a university degree in communication and experience in qualified and broad communication work. We would like you to have experience in editorial and news work related to internal communication and that you have worked with communication support in organization-wide contexts – from strategy and planning to implementation and follow-up. If you have experience in public sector operations and/or the urban planning, property, or construction industry, we value this highly.
For us, it is a given to work in a service-oriented manner. Therefore, you have high social competence and good ability to collaborate with others, both within and outside the management. The position requires that you can switch between an overarching analytical perspective and a detailed level. You have the ability to see how communication can contribute to operations achieving their goals and succeeding with their challenges. To succeed in the role, you have good writing skills and the ability to adapt messages based on channel and target group, and you know what content creates value. You also have knowledge of graphic production and use tools such as Photoshop and InDesign. You enjoy working with different tasks and together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You have the ability to switch focus and prioritize in your work.
As a person, you are confident in yourself and take responsibility for your and the joint tasks with the best interests of our target groups in focus. You take initiative to move the work forward, whether you work alone or together with others. You understand and create understanding for the management's and unit's mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole. You have good ability to share information and ideas and express the core of your messages clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Other Information
Since the recruitment takes place during the vacation period, feedback and the opportunity to answer questions may be limited during parts of the summer. We plan to start interviews from mid-August.
