About Us

We are now looking for a self-sufficient and driven team player with experience in qualified HR work. Here, you will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally in a municipality where innovation, co-creation, and sustainability are more than just words linked to the municipality's vision – it is our way of working!

The HR department in Lilla Edet Municipality currently consists of an HR Manager and three HR Partners, one of whom is also responsible for negotiations. As an HR Partner in Lilla Edet Municipality, you will become an important partner to our managers and part of a small, engaged HR team that operates across the municipality. You will be responsible for leading, developing, and coordinating the municipality's HR processes, as well as providing qualified support to managers in their application of these processes. We work closely together and help each other across responsibility boundaries when the operations need it.

Your Role

Your daily work will be varied – one moment you are delving into labor law issues, the next you are supporting a manager in a rehabilitation case. You work both strategically and operationally with issues such as work environment, collaboration, interpretation of laws and agreements, rehabilitation, employment conditions, and systematic work environment work. With great commitment, you are also expected to contribute to the development of the department's work in order to create the greatest operational benefit.

The assignment involves being a qualified HR support where you, together with colleagues and managers, work for the good of the whole. You provide specific operational HR support to managers within one of the municipality's four sectors, while simultaneously contributing to the municipality's collective HR development through responsibility for one or several areas of specialization.

Who You Are

We place great importance on personal suitability and believe that the following qualifications and characteristics describe you:

You are a team player who thrives in an environment where each day can offer new insights and challenges. You appreciate the breadth of tasks contained within a smaller organization and are motivated by the opportunity to work with everything from administration to qualified managerial support and strategic development work.

You are confident in your competence and have a personal maturity that gives you the courage to take on new, complex, and challenging tasks. You inspire trust, have high integrity, and act professionally even in demanding situations.

You work independently, take initiative, and make well-founded decisions within given frameworks. You easily move from thought to action, deliver results, and focus on what creates the greatest value for the operation.

We would like you to be a solution-oriented relationship builder who finds it easy to collaborate. You have a positive attitude, are unpretentious, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You are happy to share both knowledge and commitment and contribute to a good work community.

Requirements:

  • University degree in HR, personnel and working life issues, or other relevant education.
  • Some years of experience in qualified HR work and consultative support to managers, preferably from the public sector.
  • Current knowledge of labor law and experience handling cases and problem areas from a labor law perspective.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to convey messages clearly and pedagogically in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good digital maturity and interest in how digital tools and AI-based solutions can be used to streamline, develop, and ensure the quality of HR work.

What We Offer

  • We offer a meaningful assignment where you can contribute to societal benefit.
  • Here, you have the opportunity to work broadly across the entire HR area and follow issues from strategy to implementation. In a smaller municipality, decision-making paths are short, offering good opportunities to influence, develop, and see the results of your work.
  • Close collaboration with engaged managers.
  • Good support from colleagues and management, based on the motto "Together" being a key word for the department and its work.
  • Opportunity to influence and develop both your role and HR work in general.
  • Work in an organization with high ambitions and a strong desire for development.
  • A flexible working method, where presence in the operations is an important part of the assignment, but with the possibility of some hybrid work when the operations allow.
  • Annual wellness allowance.

Your Application

We see diversity in experience, knowledge, and interests as a strength and believe it contributes to a stronger HR team. Therefore, we are also curious about what engages you most within HR. Therefore, please describe and motivate in your application which areas you have experience in and/or a special interest in, or wish to develop within. Areas of specialization can, for example, include labor law, competence supply, work environment, wage formation, rehabilitation, digitalization, competence development, leadership development, collaboration with union partners, change management, equal treatment, analysis and follow-up, or other areas within HR.

A valid ID document must be presented before employment can be offered. The position is also subject to the municipality's guidelines for background checks, which means that extracts from the criminal record must be presented before a decision on employment is made.

We look forward to receiving your application!

NOTE! The recruiting manager will not be available during weeks 31 and 32 due to vacation.
