We are now recruiting a Senior Case Officer for the Children and Young People unit in Lerum during the current Senior Case Officer's leave of absence. Here, 22 social secretaries work with receiving, investigating, and follow-up of cases for children and young people aged 0–20. Our management team consists of two unit managers and four first-level social secretaries.
As a Senior Case Officer, you will become part of a work group where community, collaboration, and legal security are in focus. We strive for a workplace with clear goals, shared values, and a focus on the core mission. Here, you can make a difference for children at risk of harm, but your primary task will be to make a difference for the social secretaries in their daily work.

In the role of Senior Case Officer, you will provide active support to social secretaries in the case handling process, in addition to the support provided by first-level social secretaries. The work may involve being a co-handling officer in complex cases and acting as a sounding board before and after meetings or visits. You are responsible for introducing new employees to the workplace and their role as social secretaries for children and young people. You will work together with first-level social secretaries to develop and strengthen the quality of both case handling and documentation. You will assist management with the implementation of working methods and contribute to creating routines. Together with another senior colleague, you are responsible for internal training in Signs of Safety and other internal training the unit needs.
You are educated as a social worker, have training in Signs of Safety, and have several years of experience in public authority work with children and young people, and investigating according to BBIC. You are well-versed in what the role of a social secretary for children and young people entails. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of how current legislation should be applied. Merits for the position include having completed the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's training for BBIC instructors, having training in MI, MPV, and experience with the business system Treserva. It is also meritorious if you have experience in training or coaching in various contexts. We are looking for you who can contribute to equal service and treatment and help create an inclusive environment at the workplace.
A driver's license is required.

Fixed-term employment for two years. Start date by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
