Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are active, responsive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative, are resourceful, and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• want to work for our active male client, in his mid-60s, living in central Trollhättan.

• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• have experience with patient handling/moving.

• have the possibility to work at another location.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work.

• have a B-driving license and access to a car.

• are active and share the client's interest in exercise.

• are a competent swimmer.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment level, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the employment lasts" with 24-hour shifts ranging from 18:00–18:00, waiting periods between 22:30–02:00 and 02:24–06:45, as well as occasional day shifts and night shifts (waiting period 8 hours) according to the schedule below. The employment level is 67.5% excluding waiting time.

Week 1: Monday 08:00–08:00, Thursday 08:00–08:00
Week 2: Tuesday 08:00–08:00, Friday 08:00–19:00, Sunday 19:00–08:00
Week 3: Wednesday 08:00–08:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date

Immediately.

Being employed at Humana
