We are now looking for a Social Worker for a fun and interesting job at our Family Center!

The Family Center's basic mission is for the four core operations (Child Health Center, Midwife Clinic, Open Preschool, and Social Services) to collaborate in a preventive and outreach manner based on their respective professions to promote and secure the living conditions of young children and their parents.

In the role of Social Worker with us, you will participate in the operations and serve as a consultant to other staff on various psychosocial issues. The Social Worker acts as a direct link to Social Services and works in collaboration with the various operations of Social Services based on needs arising among children and parents. The goal is to be able to refer parents and children to various support and assistance measures early and in a smooth manner. As a Social Worker, you offer supportive and counseling conversations to parents based on individual needs. The intervention is without assistance decisions and documentation requirements. You will participate in various preventive and promotional activities such as parent groups, outreach and proactive activities, organize theme days, lead SIP meetings, etc.

The position also includes a coordinator role equivalent to 25%. The role involves ensuring that the joint and daily work at the Family Center functions well, as well as supporting collaboration and operational development together with others in the work group. The Coordinator is responsible for dialogue with the steering group, participates in and chairs steering group meetings, and handles minutes. The assignment also includes planning and leading collaboration and operational meetings, representing the Family Center externally, and being responsible for drawing up a joint operational plan and compiling the annual operational report.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Social Worker and have the following:

• Experience in support and counseling conversations
• Knowledge of children's development and needs as well as parents' need for support in the parenting role
• Good knowledge of Social Services operations and relevant legislation
• Experience working within regulatory Social Services and/or treatment operations

You value collaboration and working together across professional boundaries, and see different assignments and roles as a strength. You have the ability to structure your daily life, communicate clearly, and at the same time be humble in your meetings with others. Partille Municipality's Family Center has existed since 2007 and is a well-established and stable Family Center with a driven and engaged staff group. The staff working at the Child Health Center, Midwife Clinic, Open Preschool, and Social Services have, over many years, developed genuine cooperation with trust-based collaboration between the four professions. The joint work at the Family Center is led by a steering group consisting of managers for the four operations. The operations are co-located in Närhälsan's premises in Partille Center and cover the entire Partille Municipality as its catchment area.
