Billingsdalsskolan is one of two primary schools in Skultorp. We are a two-parallel school with approximately 300 students.

The municipality has decided on the new construction of a primary school in Skultorp, so we are facing an exciting future in new premises.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work at a school where you make a real difference and where the sense of community is strong? We are looking for a secure, creative, and engaged teacher for grades 4–6, who is passionate about teaching, learning, development, and creating good relationships.

The role also includes maintaining close and professional contact with guardians, as well as planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the current curriculum.

At our school, everyone knows each other, and we work together to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. With nature nearby, we use the forest as a natural part of teaching.

You collaborate closely with colleagues, school leisure centers (fritidshem), and student health services, and receive support from both the student health team and school leadership in your work.

Your main task is to challenge students in their learning together with colleagues in the work team and, through relational leadership, support the student in their knowledge development towards set goals. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching, you will work with colleagues in the work team to develop the school based on prioritized development areas.

Qualifications

• Primary Teacher Degree (Grundlärarexamen).
• Teaching in grades 4–6, with mentorship responsibilities.
• Preference given to those with certification (legitimation) and experience teaching in Science and Mathematics (No-subjects).
