About the position

Preschool Arken is run by Varabygdens parish and is located in the rural village of Larv. The preschool is newly built in functional premises with a nice outdoor environment and opportunities to visit the church as well as the forest. The preschool has capacity for 40 children and is divided into two departments. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the operations based on current governing documents. As a preschool teacher, you have the main responsibility for further developing the education and teaching. We work continuously with our learning environments and want you to become part of this to offer the children a stimulating and developmental learning environment.

The preschool's Christian profile means that we work extensively with values so that the children's daily life is characterized by always trying to treat others as we ourselves wish to be treated. Collaboration with the parish takes place with regular visits from the priest and church musician.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are an engaged and curious preschool teacher with adequate education and qualifications. You have an open attitude towards others and want to build relationships regarding children, colleagues, and guardians. You work from a solution-focused perspective and want to contribute to the development of the operations.

You are self-reliant, possess personal maturity, and are conscious in your pedagogical work; for us, it is important that you have the children's development and learning at the center and, together with colleagues, strive for a good time for the children at the preschool including both challenges and security. Good cooperation skills and flexibility are assumed.

You should have good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents, be able to translate these into practice, and keep the curriculum goals alive. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

For the position, you must:

• Have a preschool teacher license
• Be a member of the Church of Sweden
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, and have experience with digital work tools
• Provide an extract from the police criminal record
