About the Social Services Administration
The Social Services Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of the social services' mission, relevant legislation, and the administration's core values. This may include home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, social assistance, or help with substance abuse issues. The administration also houses the municipality's competence supply unit.
The Social Services Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Housing, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities
You will join the administrative team for Individual and Family Care (IFO). Duties include invoice processing, mail handling, document registration, and other reception administrative tasks. The administrative group also covers staffing at the IFO reception, where you are expected to be service-oriented with a friendly and outgoing attitude. As a receptionist, your task is to make both visitors and employees feel welcome at the Social Services Administration.
As an administrator, you also serve as an important link between visitors to the Social Services Administration and the administrative processes managed by the social services.
In the autumn of 2026, the administrative group will be reviewed and restructured in accordance with the new Social Services Act, where accessibility, good treatment, and good service are key pillars. This may lead to some changes in duties, which requires adaptability from you as a candidate.
We work with Procapita, Lifecare, Visma, Proceedo, and the Office package.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with invoice processing and other administrative tasks such as document registration.
- Experience with reception work and mail handling is required.
- Good IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to our digital systems.
- Professional and courteous attitude.
- Stress-resistant, as the work can be demanding at times.
- Good verbal and written proficiency in Swedish. Additional languages are a plus.
- Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality within set timeframes.
Employment Terms
Employment Type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
Start Date: According to agreement.
Background Check
To work in roles close to users and patients, you must provide a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority. You must request this certificate yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" available in the form archive on the police website.
