Your Role

As a Commercial Manager within the Business Unit Ground Combat, you will become part of a professional business team focused on delivering high-quality solutions to both existing and new customers.

Your focus lies on the commercial content of our business, where you work through the entire contract lifecycle, from quote to execution. You are responsible for ensuring high quality and timely delivery of quotes and contracts that meet customer requirements, in accordance with our governing processes and standards.

You review request for quotes (RFQs), analyze differences between customer requirements and Saab's terms, and participate in interpreting, developing, and formulating contract texts and commercial terms.

You are involved in contract negotiations, where you both support and sometimes drive the dialogue forward, and serve as an important support in commercial challenges. The role also involves providing both strategic and operational advice in commercial and contract-related matters, while contributing to strengthening commercial awareness within the organization.

Your Profile

As a person, you are curious, business-driven, and thrive in a role where you can combine personal responsibility with close teamwork. You have high integrity, dare to stand by your assessments, and communicate easily at different levels within the organization. You are structured in your approach, take responsibility for quality and delivery, and have the ability to handle periods of high tempo and challenging deadlines. You are driven by developing both the business and working methods, and are happy to contribute new ideas and perspectives.

We are looking for you who have an academic background, for example in business law, law, engineering, economics, or project management, or equivalent experience. You have previously worked with commercial issues in some form and have experience handling contracts or other business documents. You are comfortable in an international environment and express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
