Department of IT and Digitalization Support
The department's task is to organize, drive, and develop the IT area, as well as to coordinate Region Örebro County's work in the framework of national and regional initiatives regarding digitalization in a comprehensive and strategic manner. This includes work with strategies, processes, methods, routines, tools, collaboration, information, and communication, as well as follow-up.

Job Responsibilities
As a Business Developer, you are a crucial link between operations, IT, and management. You translate overarching goals into concrete changes and improvements in digital solutions and modern working methods. You drive and support business development from analysis to implementation and follow-up.
This involves identifying needs, analyzing processes, proposing improvements, and ensuring that development aligns with regulations, ethics, and information security, in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. As a Business Developer, you work both independently and together with colleagues and managers within the organization.
In this role, you lead and support work on digitalization, business development, and change initiatives. You drive digitalization efforts based on the region's strategic goals and contribute to the development of the IT operations. The work includes producing current situation analyses, target descriptions, roadmaps, and decision-making materials, as well as developing and introducing new working methods, methods, and solutions. You also support operations and managers in improvement work, process development, and change management to create sustainable results and successful development.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant university education with an IT focus, at least at the bachelor's level or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.
- Experience working in large IT organizations, preferably in operations undergoing change and development.
- Experience in business-oriented development work with a focus on digitalization, preferably in an organization with multiple business areas.
Additional qualifications include:
- Understanding of how AI and automation can be used in business development.
- Good understanding of and experience working in a politically governed organization.
Personal Attributes
