Job Duties

Infranord has been awarded the contract to perform basic maintenance of the railway infrastructure on the Västra Stambanan line (Hallsberg–Laxå) as well as the Hallsberg marshalling yard, starting from September 1, 2026. We are now looking for Track Inspectors.

A key part of our assignment is conducting inspections of our track infrastructure. It’s varied work where we often work outdoors together in our teams – and that’s exactly what makes working at Infranord so rewarding!

The role sometimes requires quick mobilization to the site, which means we are primarily looking for candidates who live in or around Hallsberg, or are willing to relocate there.

Qualifications & Merits

You have a high school education or equivalent experience. Previous experience with track inspection or other tasks within the railway industry is a plus.

Flexibility is important, as the work involves travel, on-call duties at home, and weekend and night shifts. A valid B-class driver’s license is required. A C-class license and authorization to operate rail vehicles are advantageous.
