In the role of Image Inspector, you play a central part in the administrative work of checking license plates. Apply today and start the full-day training in September!

About the role

Academic Work is currently recruiting Image Inspectors for the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen). Between December 1st and February 28th, the requirement is 3 shifts per week. For the rest of the year, the requirement is 2 shifts per week. Your working hours are largely dictated by weather conditions; the pace is often calmer during spring and summer, while demand increases during the winter months. Shifts are usually scheduled for mornings and afternoons, allowing you to flexibly combine the work with other commitments.

This assignment begins with a full-day training on one of the following dates: September 7th, September 14th, or October 5th.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing camera images in a data system regarding congestion charges and infrastructure fees.
  • Administer correct information from the camera images in the data system.
  • The images you review form the basis for tax decisions, making this a highly important task.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is studying at a post-secondary level and has at least one year of studies remaining, or alternatively has another occupation of at least 50%. This is regulated by collective agreement, and you must be able to provide a registration certificate or employment certificate to verify this.
  • Is available for one of the full-day training sessions.
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the language is used in daily work.
  • Is computer literate.

As a consultant, you will be held to high standards regarding adherence to the premises set for interest registration and shift booking. You therefore easily absorb and apply fixed routines related to work and shift booking. As a person, you are:

  • Flexible
  • Detail-oriented
  • Personally mature

Additional Information

  • Start: September/October
  • Hours: Part-time. The starting point is 3 shifts per week (08:00–12:00 or 12:30–16:30) between December 1st and February 28th. Thereafter, the starting point is 2 shifts per week with the same hours. However, fewer shifts may occur as the work is largely weather-dependent.
  • Location: Örebro. The work is performed on-site at the Swedish Transport Agency's office.
  • Duration: 2 years, alongside studies or another primary occupation.
