Your Role

As a Technical Information Specialist, you serve as a crucial bridge between technology and usage. You contribute to making complex systems, products, and solutions understandable through clear and accurate technical information. Your mission is to ensure that the documentation needed to support a product or system is available, updated, and usable throughout its entire lifecycle.

The work involves collecting and analyzing technical information, structuring data, and producing various types of documentation such as system and product descriptions, user manuals, service and maintenance instructions, and spare parts documentation. You often work in XML-based formats and adhere to established standards and guidelines for technical information.

In this role, you will collaborate with several functions within the organization to capture and verify the information to be documented. At the same time, you are expected to work independently in planning, prioritizing, and delivering according to set schedules.

The position is located in Karlstad or Karlskoga, where you will become part of an engaged and cohesive team within Saab Dynamics. Your Profile

We believe you have experience working with information management, technical documentation, or a similar field. You have an educational background in technical information or another technical area, but most importantly, you have a genuine interest in technology and a sense of structure and quality.

We are looking for someone who describes themselves as a meticulous and curious person who wants to contribute to creating clear, accurate, and useful technical information for our operations. As a Technical Information Specialist, you play a key role in translating complex technical information into accessible content that supports our products and systems throughout their lifecycle.

As a person, you are analytical, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating across boundaries but also have the ability to independently plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward. Your communication skills allow you to easily absorb information from different parts of the organization and convert it into clear and understandable documentation. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. For us, your personal qualities are an important part of the overall assessment in this recruitment.

You have a natural sense of order, systematic approach, and precision, and are accustomed to working methodically with both text and data. To succeed in the role, you also need to be quality-conscious, structured, and able to quickly grasp technical contexts.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
