Description

Lyrfågelskolan is located in the eastern part of Trollhättan and is a comprehensive school (grades F-9). The school has approximately 1,050 students and is divided into three units: Pre-school class–Grade 3, Grade 4–6, and Grade 7–9.

Responsibilities

You will work with standard teaching duties according to the curriculum and course plans in mathematics, natural sciences (NO), and technology for grades 7–9. Mentorship is included in the position.

You are expected to participate in the work team's and the school's development work.

You work in an stimulating environment in close relation to students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a secure and clear adult with a clear approach, where the student perspective permeates your teaching. You are attentive, have the ability to find new paths in the moment, and act as the role model you are for the students you are there for.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are qualified or certified as a teacher in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology, or who have equivalent knowledge that the employer deems comparable.

The applicant should have a working style where student influence and flexibility are a natural part. You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You are mission-conscious, create good meetings, are creative, and structured.

You must have good pedagogical competence and be well acquainted with the documents governing the comprehensive school.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
