Description

Trulsegårdsskolan is beautifully located in northern Torslanda, close to forests and the sea. There are good transport connections, and you can, for example, travel from Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen to the school in 15 minutes. There are approximately 500 students in grades 7–9 and around 60 staff members.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 7–9 with the qualification to teach mathematics. You will have mentorship for a grade 8 class. Your role also includes providing math support. During autumn 2026, you will teach mathematics 100%. For spring term 2027, you will teach an additional subject. In your role, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work. You are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development.

It is a large school, so you will have many future colleagues with long experience and high competence. In all subjects, we have active subject groups that together plan the foundation for teaching at the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach mathematics and another subject in grades 7–9. It is meritorious if you have the qualification to teach Physical Education and Health for grades 7–9.

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment and interest in, together with the other educators, creating the best conditions for our students throughout the day.

As a person, you are collaborative and work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You also have an understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different prerequisites.

Furthermore, you are curious, encourage dialogue and questions, and can see more than one possible solution. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation, and ensure that your message gets through.
