Accounting Manager for Global Truck and Bus Manufacturer in Södertälje

For our client, a world-leading company in truck and bus manufacturing, SJR is now hiring an Accounting Manager for one of our client's accounting units. The company is located in modern premises in Södertälje with excellent transport links. This is a consulting assignment initially for 6 months, starting on August 17th. For the right person, there is an opportunity to extend the assignment. We are looking for you who want to take on an employment as a consultant with a pension plan according to the collective agreement.

About the role

In this role, you will have broad responsibilities within accounting and reporting, ensuring high quality and compliance with current regulations. You will work closely with other functions within finance as well as collaborate with both internal and external parties, making this a central and business-close role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ongoing accounting as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
• Prepare annual reports according to K3 and/or IFRS.
• Ensure that accounting follows laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
• Perform and quality-assure reconciliations and controls.
• Manage and follow up on internal and external audits.
• Participate in and drive development and efficiency improvements of accounting processes.
• Collaborate with controlling, tax group, and other internal functions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic education in economics or equivalent and several years of experience in qualified accounting work. You have good knowledge of K3 and/or IFRS and are accustomed to working in larger organizations or groups. Experience from the manufacturing industry or international operations is meritorious. You have very good skills in Excel and are a proficient user of business systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of Swedish accounting and tax legislation and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
